Whirly-Girls Dole Out Scholarships
Whirly-Girls International presented their 2012 scholarships to nine women at the annual Whirly-Girls Scholarship Banquet held at Heli-Expo in Dallas last month.
Together, the scholarships are worth more than $50,000 of helicopter flight and ground training.

The White House budget released Feb. 13 would impose a $100-per-flight fee on turbine and jet powered aircraft for air traffic services, the Obama administration announced in releasing its proposed budget.

Don Goodin, 76, who flew with the civilian aerobatic team called Thunder Delfins, has passed away at his 32 1/2 acre home in rural Nelsonville, Ky., his family said.
