What a fabulous aeroplane great picture. G-ADAH is my contact with the rapide this is the oldest rapide in the UK and is preserved in the Museum of Science in Manchester. She was lovingly restored by Basil Carlin in the 1990's after he retired having spent a lifetime in aviation, he has since passed way. It was planned to fly but a sponsorship deal fell through with the demise of Dan Air Ltd who were the engineering partners. Good on you all for putting such a great aircraft back in the air.
