Rocket Shop Cafe A Great Place For Food With A View

John Harmon's Rocket Shop Cafe is located at the extreme North/West corner of the Bakersfield Municipal Airport (L45). You can taxi right up to the restaurant, find yourself a seat and enjoy one of the best “hundred dollar hamburgers” anywhere.

Not just a typical quaint little airport cafe, the Rocket Shop is an expansive full service restaurant/bar & grill which includes several big screen HD tv’s for any live sports broadcasts. Harmon Rocket merchandise and apparel is also available at the Rocket Shop cafe long with one of the largest selection of NASCAR merchandise.

With airplane and race theme menu items, ordering food is even an experience.  Whether it’s a Rocket Burger with100% certified Angus beef & loaded with bacon, avocado and mushrooms, or a tail-gunner chicken sandwich, food quality is always the priority.

Additionally, the wall of windows allows a wonderful view of the runway as airplanes take off and land with the beautiful scenic Sierra Nevada mountain range as a backdrop.
